Producing high-quality shows costs thousands in choreographer fees and travel, rehearsal and venue space rentals, costumes and props, and paid production staff. BRD is a volunteer-run dance collective, and none of the dancers are paid for their time spent in rehearsals, meetings, or doing the administrative work of running the nonprofit. With the community’s support, BRD can continue to bring vibrant dance to Bellingham.
