($7 for the first hour)

Class Description:
Cabeen teaches a technique class that focuses on intelligent body mechanics, and expressive versatility. By incorporating exercises from yoga, the Graham technique, and Contact Improvisation, the class stresses alignment, strength and openness of the body. By incorporating improvisation into the students understanding of classical techniques, Cabeen's class pushes dancers to reevaluate both the level at which they are dancing and why. Through a blending of everyday gestures and ecstatic lines, the class will explore dance as a language of movement that speaks to all. This class is designed to train dancers to be versatile, honest, virtuosic and intelligent.
